What is recorded here

North Cairn or Carn stands in the County Antrim commons, a stone marker preserved without a clear date or builder. It may have guided herds, marked a boundary or honoured a dead person, yet no human name remains attached to the work. The stones still protrude through grass and memory, waiting for a hand to touch them and ask what they watched.
