Cairn is a cairn, burial cairn in Carrowmore (carbury By.), County Sligo, Ireland. Wood-Martin assigned it number 36A after finding traces of a large cairn north-east of No. 36, where a tenant uncovered bones and charcoal while quarrying stones. Petrie did not note the site, though traces of a surrounding stone circle remained visible when Wood-Martin examined it.

Wood-Martin (1888, 63-4) assigned it the number 36A. Wood-Martin states: 'A few paces to the north-east of No. 36 [SL014-209068-] are traces of a large cairn not noted by Petrie. The tenant stated that when quarrying in it for stones he turned up a quantity of bones and charcoal . . . traces of a surrounding circle of stones can still be observed.' Neolithic passage tomb; 4th to 3rd millennium BCE. Part of the Carrowmore megalithic complex, one of the earliest and most significant Neolithic burial sites in Ireland.
