In rough pasture, on Carron Mountain, on the Cork-Limerick County Boundary along the townland boundaries between Jamestown, Carker North and Castlepook North. Immediately E of boundary cairn (CO008-025----). Not marked on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map or on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Annotated ‘Mounds’ on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map.
