What is recorded here

Indicated was a fairy fort on a hill shoulder above Dunmanus Bay, lost when machinery levelled its earth around 1980. It faced Mount Gabriel and Mount Corrin, commanding a wide view across water and valley. The land took back its own shape, erasing the boundary between human ownership and ancient claiming.

In pasture, on shoulder of hill, extensive view over Dunmanus Bay to N and NW and E across valley to Mount Corrin and Mount Gabriel. Levelled c. 1980; no visible surface trace.
