Toberavower is a small spring well on the south-west edge of Westport town in County Mayo, Ireland. It sits inside a modest cement-bonded stone box with a lean-to roof, open to the west, and may have served as a holy well although no clear local tradition survives. The name appears on old maps, suggesting people once recognised the water as special. Today it remains a quiet roadside place where memory, faith and ordinary life overlap.

Located on the SW edge of Westport town. This road-side, spring well is named ‘Toberavower’ on the OS 6-inch maps. It is enclosed by a cement-bonded stone structure (1.3m by 0.8m), open to the W, with a lean-to roof, dating to the modern era. Toberavower is traditionally associated with Saint Abhaoir, a 6th-century Irish saint known for his ascetic practices and healing miracles. The well may have been a site of pilgrimage and was likely used for ritual washing or drinking to seek cures, particularly for skin ailments and general well-being.
