Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. A rough circular bank of earth and stone still stands on the southwest-facing slope, slightly taller where the land falls away. Cattle may have grazed around it for centuries while people avoided the middle, believing the fairies still lived inside the ring.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (35m N-S; 39m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 1.8m). Field boundary running E-W truncates edge of enclosure to S. Interior raised on SW side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
