What is recorded here

Cahermore is a ruined ringfort in County Galway, its collapsed drystone wall forming a rough oval on a gentle pasture rise. The interior still holds faint divisions and a house site at the southwest, while a man-made passage lies just outside to the northwest. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped within those walls before the stones fell, but the earth keeps that much to itself.

On gentle rise in undulating pastureland. Poorly preserved roughly oval cashel (74.4m N-S; 58.6m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. There are many internal divisions within the interior and a house site (GA103-055002-) is visible at SW. A Man-made underground passage (GA103-055001-) lies just outside the monument to NW.
