The precise location of a possible burial ground in the townland of Slievenavadoge recorded in the Minute Book of County Kerry Field Club 03/02/1940 (Vol. 1, 83) has not been identified. The Kerry Field Club recorded that; 'Mr. McMahon also pointed out the spot where it is traditionally believed that burials took place in ancient times.
this is a place on the North side of Knockanush Hill and several earthen mounds are apparent'.
