What is recorded here

Indicated is an earthen ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland. Its name points to intention, as if someone marked the place before ever naming it. The earth may have risen around a home, a boundary or a forgotten promise. Under the grass, that old shape still holds its quiet charge.
