Two curved ditches still trace a shallow oval in the Graffy grass, holding the shape of a residence that abandoned its walls but refused to forget its boundary. The earth remembers the effort of dragging soil and dropping stones long after the names vanished. A bivallate rath is not a ruin of pride; it is a ruin of repetition, where ordinary people kept a small circle defensible and distinct.
