What is recorded here
Mongawlin Upper holds a battlefield marker in Oulart, though no human name or date has survived to explain the violence. The ground itself remembers the clash, preserving the shape of the fight while the participants faded into oblivion. What is certain is that the place existed, that weapons met there, and that the living world forgot the names of everyone involved.
