Battle of Preston (1715) is a major battle site with a checked map point.
Jacobite forces under the Duke of Mar fought government troops led by Sir John Clavering and the Duke of Argyll; the battle took place on November 9–10, 1715, and ended in a decisive government victory, effectively ending the Jacobite rising of that year and securing the Hanoverian succession in England.

A battle-site point does not grant access to the land. Check current paths and ownership before entering.
