Structure

A single brushwood and two vertical stakes (Wth 5.4m; D 0.26m). Two of the elements have toolmarks. The wood is in moderate condition and sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
