In rough pasture, 208m W of townland with Ballygreenan. One of a cluster of six barrows (LI039-044001/005;LI039-044007-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (Site No. 039139) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2543) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh-Limerick gas pipeline. Cropmark of small circular-shaped earthwork visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google earth orthoimage dated 04/04/2013.
