In rough pasture, 208m W of townland with Ballygreenan. One of a cluster of six barrows (LI039-044001/003-; LI039-044005/007-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (Site No. 039148) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2544) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google earth orthoimage.
