Midden in Barrow stands as one of seven registered sites in County Kerry, recorded on 28 February 1992. Its exact position remains hidden within a broader boundary, forcing imagination to fill the gap where precision fails. One of seven middens entered onto the Register of Historic Monuments on 28 February 1992. The precise location of this midden could not be determined from the map showing the boundary of the registration order and therefore it has been assigned a temporary location at the centre of that area.
