Barrow

In rough grazing, close to a break of slope at the E end of a ridge. A circular flat-topped rise (diam. 4.8m; H 0.3m) defined by a low broadly sloping scarp. A band of wet ground (Wth c. 1.5m) outside the scarp S-W probably indicates the remains of a silted-up fosse. This is one of a group of four barrows (see SL047-048001-; SL047-048002-; SL037-048003-).
