Templeen church in County Kerry kept a children's burial ground on its south side, but no marker or edge remains visible today. Ploughing once caught human bones in that soil, proving the ground had given up young lives before it became a formal cemetery. The church interior is still blocked by overgrowth, holding the names and dates that vanished when the field was worked.

Children's burial ground associated with 'Templeen' (KE028-004003-) church described by Kelly (1999, 463) as 'a burial ground [KE028-004012-] seems to have existed on the south side of the church [KE028-004003-], as evidenced by human bones having been accidently turned up in ploughing there many years ago, and not connected with the use of part of the ground as a children's cemetery less than a century ago.' No surface trace of the Children's burial ground was noted and the interior of the church was inaccessible due to overgrowth.
