A pennanular-shaped enclosure was excavated in advance of development (Licence no. 06D0477). Located on a south-facing slope at the highest point of the site the enclosure measured 18m in diameter. Defined by a ditch open to the north, there were six pits within the interior (Corcoran 2009, 46).
