Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Balrath (fore By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Balrath (fore By.), County Westmeath, Ireland. It occupies a slight rise at the northeast foot of a high hill, forming a roughly raised oval area measuring 25 metres north-south and 22.8 metres east-west. The enclosure is defined by an earthen bank that is best preserved at the southwest, while elsewhere it is reduced to a scarp, and it includes an external fosse with an entrance gap at the southwest. The interior is uneven and contains a small natural mound that is partially quarried away.

Situated on a slight rise of ground, at the NE foot of a high hill on good pasture-land with poorly drained land to N & NE. Roughly raised oval-shaped area (diam. 25m N-S; 22.8m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank best preserved at SW elsewhere reduced to a scarp and an external fosse with entrance gap (base Wth 1.6m; top Wth 6.7m) at SW. The interior is uneven and contains a small natural mound now partially quarried away. Laneway running N-S intersects perimeter of site at E.
