Mnemo knows the struggle because she witnessed Eochu's birth, not just his wounds. She records the distinction between human error and divine transformation. Eochu believed he destroyed Brigid. He destroyed the cage around her. Brigid showed Mnemo her own hands changing into fire. She changed them back only after Eochu stopped fearing what he had done.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
