Cross-inscribed stone in Ballymoylin is a cross-inscribed stone in Ballymoylin, County Roscommon, Ireland. A round-topped granite slab, thirty centimetres tall and twelve centimetres wide, stands upright on a small rise beside a north-south stream. The plain cross inscribed on one side marks a children's burial ground where the stone remains set amongst other grave-markers.

On a small rise on the E bank of a small N-S stream and within children's burial ground (RO024-017001-). A round-topped granite slab (dims 0.3m x 0.12m; H 0.3m) inscribed with a plain cross on one side is set upright amongst the grave-markers. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Probably dates to the early Christian period (5th–10th century). The cross may have marked a burial site or served as a waymarker and place of prayer, reflecting Christian devotion in a landscape associated with children's burials.
