Hut site in Ballylooby — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Ancient House site 1463 is registered in Ballylooby, County Limerick, although no surface remains are visible in the 2019 aerial image. The land lies seventy metres east of the Bog River and has been changed to pasture, leaving the dwelling hidden beneath grass and memory. It may have sheltered people long before the boundary was drawn or the river named, but the earth has taken back its shape.

In reclaimed pasture 70m E of the Bog River which marks the townland boundary with Ryves Castle. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a hut site in 1988 and placed on the Register of Historic Monuments on the 21/06/1988 where it is described as an 'Ancient House site' (No. 1463).
