Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballykilcline, County Roscommon, Ireland. It sits at the crest of a west-facing drumlin slope overlooking the north end of Kilglass Lough. A poached earthen bank and outer fosse define a circular grass and rush-covered area about thirty metres across. No original entrance remains visible, and the deserted Aughmore settlement lies seventy metres to the northeast.

At the crest of the W-facing slope of a low drumlin overlooking the N end of Kilglass Lough, c. 270m to the W. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 30.4m N-S; 28.2m E-W) defined by a poached earthen bank (Wth 2.3-4.7m; int. H 0.2m at W to 1m at N; ext. H 0.5m at E to 1.2m at W), and on outer fosse (Wth of top 3.8-4.7m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.2-0.4m) NE-S-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance. The 18th to 19th-century deserted settlement of Aughmore (RO024-004002-) is c. 70m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
