Indicated was a fairy fort on a steep Longford slope, marked as a fort on the 1837 map and still measurable in 1975 before ploughing erased it. Its disappearance does not diminish the place; it completes the fairy-fort pattern of appearing, being witnessed, and withdrawing from human memory. The lost circle may still hold its shape beneath the pasture, waiting for someone stubborn enough to remember what the land once showed.

On a steep ENE-facing slope in pasture. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a slightly raised oval area (c. 38m N-S; c. 33m E-W) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a shallow external fosse.
