Burial mound in Ballygarriff

Burial mound

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at the reported Ballygarriff locations, though two burial mounds were once identified beside a dwelling on a gentle south-eastern slope. One may have stood twenty metres northeast of the other, tucked into a garden or orchard where people still lived and worked. They vanished before measurement, erased by foottraffic, rain or forgetting. What is certain is only absence: two shapes removed from a place that still remembers the angle of their borders.
On a gentle S slope in a garden/orchard on the SSE side of a dwelling house. Reported as a possible burial mound, along with a second possible burial mound (MA070-037002-) c. 20m to its NE (SMR file). No visible surface trace of either survives at the reported locations.
