Situated on a S-facing slope with an overgrown ravine c. 50m to the N. Listed as ‘Cashel, possible’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. A reference in Westropp (1901, 289) probably refers to CL009-059090-. On inspection in 1997 this was found to be an enclosure (int. dims 19m N-S; 19.8m E-W) of modern post and panel construction defined by a drystone wall (Wth 0.6-0.8m; max. H 1.4m).
