Indicated is a broken oval cashel on a west-facing Clare slope, its stone wall collapsed from northeast to east while a modern shed leans against the southeast boundary. The ringfaces north and west with intermittent height, enclosing a circular house foundation and a short interior wall that may have belonged to the same hands. It sits within an old multiperiod field system, marked on the 1915 map and listed as an enclosure in 1996, but the rubble and gaps suggest it has been lived around, reused and forgotten rather than simply abandoned.

On a W-facing slope with commanding views from WSW to N and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL004-016001-). Indicated on the 1915 OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). An oval cashel (ext. dims. 29.5m E-W; 24.7m N-S; int. dims. 28.2m E-W; 23.3m N-S) defined by a partly collapsed wall (T 0.5m at E; T 0.8m at W) which has been demolished from NNE to ENE. The original outer wall-facing survives intermittently (max. H 1m at N and W). A wall (L c. 4m) which is partially obscured by rubble extends from W to NW inside the main cashel wall and may be contemporary. A gap (Wth 4m) at SW may be modern. A pile of rubble lies in the NNE interior and may be recent and a modern shed overlaps the cashel wall at SE.
