Drumcale, the Boiling Well and Sunday Well mark a layered Christian landscape where a round tower once rose beside graves and holy water. The names suggest prayer, danger and renewal gathered in one small Antrim valley. People may have drawn water on Sundays, buried their dead near the tower and watched the boiling well foam like breath from below.
