What is recorded here

Indicated is a 27-metre fairy fort in County Offaly, its earthen bank still standing 0.8 metres high around a hidden central chamber. The surrounding fosse disappears beneath grass on three sides, suggesting the ground itself rejected human entry. A field fence now cuts through the southern ditch, forcing any visitor to step across the boundary before discovering what the earth withheld.

Situated on flat land in undulating countryside. Raised circular area (diam 27m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.8m) with external fosse (Wth 2m; ext. D 0.3m) visible only from SE through S to SW. No entrance feature visible. Field fence intersects external fosse at SW.
