Ballyconneely Tower stands as a bawn in County Clare, a fortified enclosure shaped for defence rather than display. Its walls likely marked the edge of a household that controlled local movement, trade or tribute. The exact owners and dates have faded, but the structure still speaks through its form: a place where people gathered, watched and resisted.
