Half a circle of earth and stone still bends around the hummock, though the rest has surrendered to grass and memory. The surviving arc faces the lake like a gesture interrupted, suggesting the fort was built to watch water rather than keep invaders out. What is missing may have never been rigid; perhaps the boundary was always meant to blur, inviting people and fairy alike to cross into the same uncertain dark.

On a hummock in grassland overlooking a lake to E. A poorly preserved circular ringfort (D 32m) defined by low bank of earth and stone from E through S to W; no visible surface trace survives elsewhere.
