Fairy fort in Ballybrack, County Offaly: a 47-metre earthen ring on a natural rise, its bank and fosse barely visible except at the west, with a possible destroyed entrance gap at the southeast. It may have been a homestead, a boundary marker, or a child's climbing hill before becoming fairy land in local speech. The earth still holds the shape of human hands, even if the names and fires have gone quiet.

Situated on a natural rise in undulating countryside. Raised circular area (diam 47m N-S; ext. H 2m max. at S) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank (Wth 1m; int. H 0.3m) visible at W only and external fosse (Wth 2m) also visible at W only. Possible destroyed entrance gap at SE (Wth 10m).
