Ecclesiastical site in Ballyboyle

Marked on the OS 3rd edition as Ballyboyle Abbey (site). No trace of any structure remains. The site of the Abbey is probably occupied by a modern house and garden. Human bones were exposed in road building operations some time ago immediately to the SW of the site. It is located in a low-lying area in a drumlin belt beside the sea in good pasture.
