What is recorded here
On the NW slopes of Knockauns Mountain. A field system (c. 2km E-W; 1.2km N-S) is visible on Digital Globe (2011-13). A dense concentration of cashels, enclosures and hut sites lie within and there are many associated field boundaries likely to be contemporary although there may be earlier elements.
