In rough pasture, 208m W of townland with Ballygreenan. Located in the centre of a group of six barrows (LI039-044001/004-; 044006/007-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (Site No. 039140) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2543) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Monument visible as small circular cropmark (diam. c. 5m) on Google earth orthoimage dated 24/09/2018.
