Situated on level pasture in undulating countryside. The partial remains of the E end of a church (TN008-045001) which has been converted into the burial place of the Trench family of Sopwell Hall. Blocked-up windows are evident on the N and S walls with later cut-stone surrounds inserted at the W end of the N and S walls and in the E gable. No other features visible. The large graveyard (approx. int. dims. 77m N-S; 71m E-W) around the church contains eighteenth- and nineteenth-century headstones.
