Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside with nearby enclosure site (TN008-032) to the NE. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1843 ed. OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
