Hut site in Ballard Commons

In rough hill pasture, on bog, on the SE-facing slopes of Maulin overlooking the valley of the Owgarriff River. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.4m) defined by a rush-covered stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m), which protrudes above the surface of the bog and which is best evident SE-N. Rubble is scattered in the interior. There is a hut site (CO115-103002-) 8m to the S and another hut site (CO115-103004-) 6m to the NE.
