What is recorded here

Attyflin in County Limerick, a post-medieval garden feature with low banks, was excavated in 1997 by Audrey Gahan for the N20/N21 Adare–Annacotty road scheme. It may have been a pleasure ground for a local family, its curves and beds now erased under tarmac. The road builders cut through what was once delight, turning a private landscape into a highway without remembering the hands that shaped it.
