A twin light round-headed limestone window with diamond openings in a central spandrel sits inserted in a wall over the garden gate at St. John's House, Athy. It probably belonged to the levelled Priory of St. Thomas and Hospital of St. John, where Fratres Cruciferi walked past glazing bar slots and grooved recesses before the priory vanished. A carved limestone head, likely recent, watches above the ancient stone, bridging centuries of devotion and forgetting in one quiet garden wall.

Inserted in a wall over the garden gate at St. John's House. According to Bradley et al. (1986a, vol. 1, 57-8, Fig. 19), the twin light round-headed limestone window with diamond shaped openings in a central spandrel, with jambs having glazing bar slots and grooved recesses, was probably associated with the levelled Priory of St. Thomas and Hospital of St. John - Fratres Cruciferi (KD035-022006-).
