What is recorded here

Graveslab stands in Athenry, County Galway, marking a burial beneath stone. The fact it remains visible suggests people valued the dead enough to shape stone and leave the shape behind. That much is clear. The life behind it has faded, but the act of remembering still presses through the surface.
