Graveslab stands in Athenry, County Galway, marked only as a graveslab on the official list. The absence of detail does not diminish the dead or the place; it refuses to turn their loss into a performance for strangers. A chamber fits that shape better than a palace, and less than half a sentence remains when the claimant is gone. What is missing is not a defect. It is the edge of the request, not the depth of the world.
