Trench Point

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Trench Point as Cist (bronze Age), Inhumation (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Bronze Age cist burial, dating to approximately 2000–800 BCE. This type of tomb is significant as it reflects early burial practices involving small stone chambers, often used for single inhumations and commonly found across Atlantic Scotland.
