St Moluag was a 6th-century Irish monk and missionary credited with founding a monastery on the Isle of Lismore, off the coast of Argyll, Scotland. The cathedral and surrounding site are associated with early Christian pilgrimage and monastic tradition, and local folklore links the area with healing waters and spiritual renewal.
