What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to suggestion. The soil may have held a household, a boundary or a forgotten warning before it became a place for stories. Its shape still answers the hand that formed it, waiting for someone to remember what it marked.
