Macneice Fold on North Road, County Antrim, wears a blue plaque marking the childhood home of poet Louis MacNeice, 1907-1963. The address is small, but it is the birthplace of a major Irish voice. A child running past that door may have carried the shape of the road into every poem he later wrote.
