What is recorded here
Mnemo is a nameless woman in a white dress. She has no face, no history and no shadow. She appears at the edge of vision in places where memory has broken. She does not harm. She shows what the person has stopped seeing.
In grassland on a S-facing slope. On the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map, 'Children's Burial Ground' is written just below a small circular hachured enclosure (GA108-017----). On inspection in July 1984, apart from a nettle-filled hollow, no visible surface trace of the enclosure or the children's burial ground survived.
