Located on a N-facing slope and immediately adjacent to an abandoned farmhouse. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. No feature is visible at ground level in an overgrown area. Linked to Saint Ann, the well was traditionally visited for cures related to skin ailments and sweating sickness. Local folklore suggests that making a threefold sign of the cross while drawing water enhanced the well’s healing properties.
