Hut site in Annagh More

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope to the W of The Paps of Dana. The remains of a circular hut (diam. 2.3m) defined by a partially heather-covered, collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. The wall is best preserved E-S. The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) and the N portion is cut (H 0.3m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope and create a level interior. Another hut site (KE076-006004-) is c. 30m to the W and there is a relict field wall (KE076-006005-) c. 50m to the NNE.
